World female No. 10 Naomi Osaka has been named as the highest paid female athlete by Forbes, surpassing Serena Williams with a prize money and endorsement of $37.4m over the last year. She’s a two-time Grand Slam winner and she has about 15 sponsorship deals that includes Nissan Motors, Yonex, Shiseido and Nike.
Over the years, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova have always taken that position, taking back since 2004, but here is the Japanese’s 22-year-old making the cut thanks to consistency over the last couple of years.

Amiens, Toulouse and Lyon have all seen their appeal against the early stop to the season thrown out by the court. Toulouse and Amiens were relegated while Lyon had to settle for a position that will not allow them play in any European competition next season.
Clubs in the Premier League will vote for or against the idea of starting contact training when they meet next Wednesday.

Adrian Mariappa and two members of staff have both gone to isolation after testing positive for the virus and now two unnamed players have joined them to prevent the pass on of the virus even though they tested negative.
Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has stated his desires to return to the Premier League if he gets the opportunity. He however said he wouldn’t hesitate if he gets an opportunity abroad.
Pochettino further stated that he’s very happy that Jose Mourinho succeeded him at Tottenham. He said he has always thought he would succeed the Portuguese at different clubs levels. They both have a good relationship, since when Jose was Real Madrid’s boss and Pochettino was Espanyol’s manager.
Leicester have joined Chelsea and Manchester United to enquire about the availability of Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho.
Manchester United have revealed they’ve lost about £28m due to the ongoing pandemic but this will not stop them from competing in the transfer market. They’ve assured manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to expect every needed backing.
