France head coach Didier Deschamps has signed a new contract that will keep him in the job until after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Deschamps who took charge of the French national team in 2012 has so far led them to the Euro 2016 final as well as triumphed the 2018 World Cup that held in Russia. His current deal was due to end after the Euro 2020 next year but it has now been extended until after the World Cup in 2022. This will mean that Deschamps will be the longest-serving coach for France as he looks to surpass Michel Hidalgo who spent eight years and six months in charge.
Leicester City have started negotiations with defender Caglar Soyuncu over the signing of a new deal at the club after constant interest from Manchester City. The King Power stadium side are hoping they can renew his deal alongside other starman James Maddison.
