A member of Tottenham football club has been confirmed to have tested positive to coronavirus in the fifth round of tests carried out on Monday and Tuesday in the Premier League. The result was the only positive result in the whole of the league.
It is however not known if it was a player of members of staff as they try to protect everyone at all cost.
In the EFL, however, there were nine positive tests in the Championship.
Everton are reportedly ready to extend the contract of veteran left-back Leighton Baines for one more year. His current deal expires this summer and he has spent 13 years so far at the Merseyside club.
