Matt Ritchie scored the winner for Newcastle against Man City
Lacklustre Manchester City slipped to a 2-1 defeat away at Newcastle thanks to goals from Salomon Rondon and Matt Ritchie which won it for Rafa Benitez’s side.
City scored first through Sergio Aguero after just 24 seconds into the match but Newcastle wanted it more in the second half, equalizing through Rondon and getting a penalty which was converted by Ritchie. City are still 2nd with 56 points while Newcastle are 14th with 24 points.
This is the first time since 2005 that Newcastle would beat Manchester City in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola managed his 100th Premier League game last night and has gathered 234 points, only Jose Mourinho gathered more with 237 points in his first 100 Premier League games.

Ashley Barnes scored for Burnley
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s 100% start to life at Manchester United came to an end yesterday as the Red Devils could only fight to salvage a point at home to Burnley. Burnley first scored twice to take a 2-0 lead but Paul Pogba’s late penalty and a Victor Lindelof’s late winner secured a point for United and they are still 6th with 45 points while Burnley are 15th with 23 points.
Burnley have failed to win in any of their last 20 matches in all competitions at Old Trafford. They’ve drawn eight and lost 12.

Lindelof became the fourth Swedish player to score for United.
Alexandre Lacazette’s goal proved decisive for Arsenal last night
Arsenal secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Cardiff City at the Emirates stadium. It was all emotional at the ground as Cardiff paid respect to the missing Emiliano Sala who is yet to be seen. Arsenal got the first goal through a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s penalty (1-0) but it was Alexandre Lacazette’s solo goal (2-0) that proved decisive as Cardiff struck late to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
